The Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date with its grey “glacier” pattern dial gives the impression of looking into the depths of a glacier, with its minerals accumulated over millennia. Inspired by the Mer de Glace, this glacial texture was achieved using an almost forgotten ancestral technique called gratté-boisé. The 41 mm timepiece comes with an interchangeable stainless steel bracelet, which can be easily and quickly swapped for a black rubber strap with grey profiling without the need to return to the boutique or use any tools. The watch is also adjustable to the wrist when worn during diving. The timepiece complies with the ISO 6425 standard for diving, is water-resistant up to 300 metres, and features luminescent indicators that allow reading even in low light conditions.
