Drawing inspiration from Minerva’s extraordinary heritage, which dates back to 1858, Montblanc is launching new women’s timepieces in its Star Legacy Collection, sweetening the style of classical fine watchmaking with a touch of femininity. The Montblanc Star Legacy Small Second features a 32 mm polished stainless steel case with curved sides, giving it a refined shape and a pebble effect, along with lugs with raised elements on the sides. In keeping with classical watchmaking, the onion-shaped crown stands out for being immediately recognizable and easy to handle, adorned on the side with the iconic Montblanc emblem in mother-of-pearl. The silvery-white dial features the Maison’s variable star guilloché pattern in the center and is embellished with prominent anthracite-colored Arabic numerals at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock. At 6 o’clock, an elegant diamond circle frames the small seconds counter, which is set with 28 diamonds (~0.056 ct) and contains a smaller version of the Montblanc variable star guilloché pattern. The timepiece is completed by a new dark grey Sfumato alligator strap from the Montblanc Pelletteria in Florence.
